It's ok if you don't know how to make alot of money as a lawyer. After all, what did they teach any of us in law school about how to market a law practice or how to manage a law firm?

I was recently interviewed for a law practice management class at the Penn University. During the interview (below) I shared what I consider to be some pretty valuable and highly-substantive information in response to the questions posed to me by the class & professor. I'm trying to decide whether or not to give it to a sound engineer/editor to clean-up, leave it as-is on the theory that substance trumps forum, or. . . ? I would really appreciate your feedback and suggestions for what to do with this really-useful collection of great law practice management & law firm marketing information. Please leave a comment.

There are actually only a few tools, strategies, skills and techniques which separate the Top 5% most successful lawyers from the rest of 95% of all lawyers in private practice today. And they're all relatively easy to learn and apply. They make a huge difference in every practice area, in every market I've implemented them in. If you're not already doing everything we're going to discuss during Thursday's talk then any one of these strategies, tools, tactics or techniques could substantially improve your practice even in the current economic climate.
